We’re a team of creatives and developers that got together back in 2011 to bring Screach to the world. We have offices in Newcastle upon Tyne and London, UK, Cluj in Romania and even New York City. We also have an uber talented board that bring huge amounts of experience and knowledge into the mix.

  • Paul

    Paul Rawlings (CEO)

    Paul co-founded ScreenReach Interactive and created the Screach Product from his vast experience in digital signage and interactive technology. Paul started out creating EPOS, Sales Order Processing and Marketing systems for businesses including Burger King and Dixons. In 2009 he built a couple of Twitter based businesses – these included Twe2, a free SMS provider for twitter sold privately by Paul in the same year and a social auction website Tweba, which grabbed the headlines.

    Sam Morton (CPO)

    After training with the BBC Sam worked as a screenwriter and production manager for a number of companies producing TV commercials, TV drama and feature films. Sam founded Twenty First Century Media in 2002 & within six years Sam & Nick Imrie had built the company into one of the largest digital media companies in the North, producing commercials, training films, viral and mobile material, promos and web TV. Sam and Nick sold the company to Bob Geldof’s Ten Alps Plc in 2008. During 2008-2010 Sam integrated the company into the Ten Alps Plc organisation and secured notable contracts and clients with the Highways Agency (web TV) and England 2018 (corporate promo’s). After leaving Ten Alps, Sam co-founded ScreenReach Interactive with Paul and is now Chief Commercial Officer.

    Richard Dodd (COO)

    Richard started his career with Tesco as an IT Graduate and spent the next 13 years learning the retail trade across a diverse range of roles ranging from running the development team for store systems to becoming the marketing expert for cooked meats and dairy, and finally running the international store operations consulting team. He left Tesco in 2007 to join BT's retail solutions business BT Expedite where as Chief Operating Officer he helped transform it into an award winning multi-channel software business, providing solutions for the top UK retailers including Primark, WH Smiths, Burberry and New Look. In 2012 Richard was tempted away from the world of big blue chip businesses to join the Screach team. He brings with him a wealth of retail, marketing and operational experience as well as a passion for the innovative use of technology to connect brands with their customers. Outside of work Richard loves football and runs his daughter Rachel's girls football team and helps coach his son Ben's team in St.Albans.

  • Tahir

    Tahir Ali (CFO)

    After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst &Young, Tahir held a variety of senior international management roles in Procter and Gamble and Rentokil Initial. This was followed with a move to the technology sector as Finance Director of a 3i funded software business and on to consulting venture capital roles. Tahir remains a director of Caspian Learning, a globally leading 3D simulation and serious games technology business with interests in the education, corporate and military sectors.

    David Weinfeld (CSO)

    Prior to joining Screenreach, David served as a Director at Obscura Digital, known as one of the most innovative creative agencies and technology labs in the world. David’s passion for digital signage and emerging technology’s role in enhancing the customer experience is well illustrated in his highly regarded blog, Digital Signage Insights. David’s experience includes consulting to Fortune 100 technology companies, developing next-generation technology solutions for global consumer brands, and advising a diverse range of startups. As a digital strategist and technology specialist, David’s background extends to the fields of digital out-of-home media, mobile, social media, and emerging Web applications. David is a frequent speaker at industry events and conferences on the topic of mobile, social, and DOOH convergence.

  • Tom Maxfield

    Tom Maxfield

    Tom Maxfield, a successful serial entrepreneur, joined Sage in 1984 as Sales Director and was a Main Board Director of The Sage Group plc. He left in 1997 to pursue his vision of transforming a derelict wreck into a 5 star world-class hotel in Seaham Hall. Tom founded Tom’s Companies, a portfolio of upmarket hospitality venues that included Seaham Hall, The Serenity Spa, The Samling, Fisherman’s Lodge and Serenity in the City. He sold the hotel and spa businesses to von Essen Hotels in 2008. Tom is a Vice president of Sunderland AFC and is chairman of the Entrepreneurs’ Forum in the North East.

    Colin Willis

    Colin has 15 years of venture capital experience. He founded Hotspur Capital Partners, an Angel Group of 10 experienced entrepreneurs, making its first investment in February 2008. Prior to Hotspur, he set up the Rising Stars Growth Fund which became one of the most active early stage investors in the UK. He joined Rising Stars after starting his venture capital career at 3i. In addition to ScreenReach Colin currently serves on the board of directors of AntixLabs, Caspian Learning, Cogenta Systems, Femeda, Medalytix, and RouteTrader.

  • Bernard

    Bernard Fisher

    Bernard Fisher’s career has spanned over thirty-five years spent almost entirely in the Information Technology industry. The first half was spent in a series of technical roles, starting with the BBC and culminating as European Technical Director for the ICL (now Fujitsu) Group of companies. The second half has been spent as an entrepreneur, starting up, turning around, and providing international business development, trade-sale and IPO consultancy. Since 1989, Bernard has been furnishing this advice as an independent board member to a number of public and private companies including the Sage Group plc. As well as running a number of businesses in the USA and Internationally as Chief Executive and taking them to a successful exit. Bernard is currently the Executive Chairman of Casewise (www.casewise.com). He is also a Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of the AIM quoted document management company INVU with two ex Sage colleagues (see below). www.invu.net. INVU has had the best Small Cap multiple of any tech company currently quoted on AIM in 2007. Bernard is also Non-exec Chairman of ITIM the leading independent supplier of retailing software in the UK. ITIM has commercial “e-catalogue” business clients like Argos.

    Tom Gutteridge

    Tom Gutteridge is one of the UK’s most distinguished media executives. After 12 years at the BBC, he founded Mentorn, which quickly became Britain’s largest independent production company, responsible for many popular television brands such as ‘Challenge Anneka’. ‘Question Time’ and ‘Robot Wars’. In 2000 he sold Mentorn for £17million to The Television Corporation plc and became Group Creative and Marketing Director of the enlarged entity. In 2003 he was headhunted by one of the world’s largest media companies, FremantleMedia, to become CEO of their North American operation, which produces the most popular television series in the U.S., American Idol. After 4 years in Los Angeles he returned to the UK and set up Standing Stone Productions in his native Newcastle, where he is currently preparing a new entertainment series for a U.S. network. Tom has held a number of non-executive positions over the years: as Broadcasting Consultant to Camelot he was part of their winning bid for the National Lottery; in 2010 he was Creative Director of Trinity Mirror’s successful bid for the Independently Financed News Consortia, News 3. He is currently non-executive director of the screen agency Northern Film & Media and Chairman of Skillset North, the skills council for the creative industries. He is Visiting Professor of Media at Teesside University and was made a Fellow of the Royal Television Society for his services to the television industry.

    Tony Kypreos

    Tony is a founding investor in Springboard Accelerator, a shareholder / board member of Lingospot Inc, and Screenreach Interactive Ltd. He is also a shareholder in P2i Labs, Minimonos, apiary.io, Hubflow and a board adviser to Upstream Systems. Previously he was Group Managing Director of Bauer Digital one of the world’s largest privately owned media companies where he played a key role in the €1.4BN M&A integration of EMAP Plc. Prior to Bauer he was on the operational board of T-Mobile International as Group Executive Vice President Business Development & Innovation. He joined T-Mobile International as Vice President Messaging where he led a team that designed and launched Flext, Western Europe’s most commercially successful mobile operator voice/SMS service. He also served on the advisory board for Deutsche Telekom’s VC arm, T-Ventures. Tony was in the leadership team for the IPO of Agency.com (NASDAQ: ACOM) as Vice President Strategic Services. In addition to his Telecoms Media and Technology experience, he has a passion for consumers and brands gained during nine years in marketing roles at Nestle SA and Diageo Plc. At Nestle he led the strategy for EMEA region promotional policy for over €1BN marketing spend and was the youngest Marketing Controller responsible for a brand portfolio including Nesquik, Coffeemate and Carnation. He holds a BSc (Hon) in Physics & Electronic Systems, Brunel University and an MBA from Henley Business School majoring in corporate venturing and innovation.

    Nick Imrie

    Nick Imrie is an enthusiastic and results-oriented business owner/manager with 20 years marketing, media and business growth experience. His drive and focus have allowed Nick to deliver impressive results in a range of businesses from start-up to multi-billion pound international operations. After working as marketing and group marketing for two Plc’s in the lighting sector Nick joined the board as head of marketing for high growth start-up domainnames.com growing the company to operations on 4 different continents. His first experience of a business exit was the sale of domainnames.com to VeriSign Inc in 2001. Between 2001-2003 Nick was Marketing and Products Director for EMEA for VeriSign handling European customer acquisition and retention campaigns and product development. Leaving VeriSign Inc in 2003, and over the next 5 years Nick started up 2 non-profits as well as growing and selling media company twenty first century media (along with Sam Morton) to Ten Alps Plc in 2008. In 2010 Nick started up a high growth and market disruptive conference call service called 03TALK and is a non-exec of ScreenReach Interactive.
