• Prime Video has chosen the UK-based enterprise streaming and advertising platform Screach to deliver its coverage of Ligue 1 Uber Eats matches to commercial venues across France.
  • Prime Video owns the French broadcast rights to over 300 matches a season from France’s elite Ligue 1 Uber Eats competition, which it streams direct to consumers via its Prime Video service.
  • From January tens of thousands of bars, cafés and restaurants in France will be able to show all live Ligue 1 Uber Eats matches via the Screach App.

London, 1st February 2022 – Prime Video has teamed up with the Screach streaming platform to deliver its broadcasts of French Ligue 1 Uber Eats football via a smart TV app to thousands of commercial venues across France.

At the beginning of the 2021-22 season, Prime Video, the “home of top French Club Football” acquired 80% of Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT matches. Under the three-year deal, Amazon is broadcasting over 600 matches a season direct to fans via its Prime Video service.

Now Prime Video has struck a partnership with Screach, the cloud-based streaming and advertising platform built exclusively for commercial venues, to deliver its football content to bars, restaurants and cafés across France.

The Screach app, which is already available in 157 countries, aggregates live sports services and gives venues access, via subscription or Pay-per-view, to HD quality events that drive footfall and sales.

The platform, which was developed by the UK tech firm Screenreach and is already being used by the NFL, also comes with integrated venue marketing and advertising capabilities – enabling venues to monetise their existing TV screens, boosting sales and generating incremental revenue to help offset their investment in live sports.
